SITE GLITCHES

We take all reasonable steps to ensure that our Site is available, however, websites do sometimes encounter downtime due to a server and other technical issues. Therefore, we will not be liable if this Site is unavailable at any time.

Our Site may be temporarily unavailable due to issues such as system failure, maintenance or repair, or for reasons beyond our control. Where possible, we will try to give our users advance warning of maintenance issues, but shall not be obliged to do so.

Should technology on anew perspectives end interfere with a scheduled workshop, the workshop will be rescheduled to accommodate the majority of participants. This may be at a different day, time, or extension of the original workshop. Make-up sessions due to the participant’s technical difficulty may be considered for the future, but not guaranteed. The decision is approved or denied at the sole discretion of the owner of anew perspective.

USER CONDUCT

Any material you send or post to our Site shall be considered non-proprietary and non-confidential.

When using our Site, you shall not post or send to or from the Site:

USERS OF LEGAL AGE OF MAJORITY

Because we care about the safety and privacy of children online, our Site is designed and intended only for those who have reached the age of majority (18 years of age). Our instructors, guests, participants or anyone else affiliated with the program are not providing counseling or advice and you should not treat the information shared as such. You are not entering into any type of relationship with anyone in our program that would entitle you to client privileges that would be associated with any professional certifications or licenses that someone may hold.

You understand that anew perspective has no obligation to keep information shared confidential. We do respect the right to privacy and expect our participants to be respectful of others’ participating in the workshop, anew perspective is not responsible for the actions, comments, or sharing of information whatsoever. Participants are asked to maintain confidentiality as part of the program; however, it is up to the individuals participating and sharing to use discretion if they choose to speak and share something personal.

WORKSHOP PARTICIPATION & BEHAVIORS

You understand that anew perspective is not a professional counseling resource and will provide clients around the world, the ability to participate.

You understand that when you submit a request to participate in the workshop, and when you participate in the workshop, you are signifying that you agree to the terms and conditions of our workshop outlined as follows: You agree to cooperate should you choose to participate in surveys, conversations, exercises, or any other voluntary participation designed to evaluate the program and provide services to you. You understand that any information disclosed by anew perspective will be held in confidence to the extent possible; participants who are reported to violate someone’s privacy can be removed without validating cause. In consideration of the furnishing of management or technical assistance, you waive all claims against anew perspective personnel, and other resources arising from this workshop.

You understand that our facilitators, guests, and participants are not providing advice pursuant to the authority of professional certifications or licenses that they may hold and you will not treat information provided by anyone participating as such. You further understand that you are not entering into a relationship with our facilitators or peer participants that entitle you to confidentiality privileges. You understand that we do not engage in the practice of law or professional counseling. This includes, but is not limited to, providing specific advice. We do not engage in conduct that leads to the creation of any participant-client relationship. You must comply with all applicable laws.

You will be responsible for your actions and for the actions of anyone who accesses your user account or user platform settings. You are responsible for your conduct and those that may be around you during the live sessions. You are encouraged to be in a private area. You are required to adhere to the confidentiality and protection of those participating in the live workshop. Personal Identifiable Information, such as names, shall not be shared associated with stories outside of the peer group with others.

You agree that if you are removed from the workshop based on a violation of any house rules and disrespectful or discriminatory behavior, you will not be refunded. See Misconduct, Abuse, and Tolerance.

VIDEO RECORDING

Participants are NOT authorized and are forbidden to record any session. anew perspective will only record sessions authorized by participants in advance with their written permission and provided with specifics on what the recording will be used for.

MISCONDUCT, ABUSE AND TOLERANCE

anew perspective is a safe space where learning and sharing occur. You may be exposed to Content that could be deemed from a variety of sources, which may be inaccurate, offensive, objectionable, or illegal. You hereby waive any legal or equitable rights or remedies you have or may have against anew perspective with respect thereto. If you believe a participant acted inappropriately or otherwise misused their sharing of personal experiences or vocal platform not in good faith, please immediately report such participant to us immediately. You agree that your report shall not impose any responsibility or liability upon anew perspective and that anew perspective may consider such report and act upon it, refrain from taking any such action or require additional information or documents before doing so, at its sole discretion.

If you witness or experience any misconduct or abusive behavior by anyone using our services, please let us know.

PAYMENTS

Full payments are made prior to the start of the workshop. Participants will only be charged once for the 12-week period they signed up for. Arrangements for missed workshops must be brought to the owners’ attention immediately, in advance if possible, and will be considered at the sole discretion of the owner whether to allow a make-up session. You will be responsible for any incorrect fees, losses and expenses that follow.

REFUNDS

If you are not satisfied with anew perspective Services after completing the first two weeks, you may reach out to the owner, at email@anewperspective.net to discuss the issue to see if it can be rectified. A written request must be submitted prior to the following workshop to be considered. There must be a valid reason. The timing and scheduling of the workshop is not a valid reason for a refund. The owner has the right to re-assign/offer you to a different timeslot or future class.

Again, if you are removed due to misconduct, no refund will be granted. Depending on the severity of the issue, removal may be immediate.

CANCELLATIONS

By Participant: You may request to cancel your participation in the workshop at any time and discuss with the owner if a partial refund can be processed due to personal reasons. The decision is made at the sole discretion of the owner.

From anew perspective: If you violate any of these terms or fail to make timely payments, we may suspend or cancel your account.
